PE0401
High-Potency Postbiotic Essence
A postbiotic ingredient produced from four source strains. The PE0401 handbook describes each gram as carrying the metabolic equivalent of 50 billion probiotics — a fermentation-equivalent measure defined by the manufacturer, not a live cell (CFU) count. PE0401 does not require live cell colonisation.
Microbiota Balance
In the laboratory growth testing described in the PE0401 handbook, growth of the tested probiotic strains increased by up to 80% against the comparators used. Test conditions available on request.
Anti-Inflammatory
In cell-based assays, PE0401 raised tight-junction gene expression and anti-inflammatory markers (J Pure Appl Microbiol, 2022). These are laboratory findings, not a demonstrated effect in people.
Liver & Uric Acid Management
In a randomised clinical trial (82 adults, 60 days), the group taking PE0401 together with three probiotic strains showed the largest reductions in serum AST, ALT and uric acid among the six groups, alongside lower levels of the pathobiont Bilophila wadsworthia. PE0401 was one component of that combination, so the result is not attributable to PE0401 on its own.
